Seb writes: John led an ad hoc social ride to Northstowe Tap and Social. Announced only a few days before, it nevertheless attracted 16 riders at Brookside for a 10am start.We rode out in two separate groups via Madingley, Dry Drayton, Bar Hill and Northstowe lakes, and back via Rampton, Cottenham and Mere Way.
It was overcast all morning but stayed dry; but there was quite a strong wind from the south-south-west, particularly noticeable on the return journey.
