Sunday 25 January 2026
On Saturday 11 July 2026 we will have a number of audaxes departing from Haslingfield. Entries open on 1 April: the cost is £10.50. A GPX course, routesheet and notes will be sent about a week before the event. Entries close about a week before.
Riders have a set time to complete each ride in, but the time allowed is quite generous. It's not a race - there are no points for being the first back.
Routes are designed to make the most of our fabulous East Anglian countryside, with many refreshment opportunities.
This year, we're proud to be part of the women in audax 50:50@50 initiative, trying to get more women involved in audax in the year Audax UK turns 50 - the aspiration is that some rides have a 50:50 ratio of riders. To that end, our rides will be as fun and as friendly as we can possibly make them - and we have a lower minimum speed on some rides.
Are you already into cycling? Perhaps you ride with CTC Cambridge already or a Breeze group and already feel confident on rides of about 40 miles. Ready to make the leap and conquer your first 100 mile ride? There is something magic about your first imperial century - imagine what you'll say when colleagues ask what you did over the weekend! Our 150km (100 mile) route is a great first imperial century. Beautiful route, loads of cafes, plenty of time, and a nice cup of tea, a cake, and some beans on toast at the end.
Perhaps you are mildly audax-curious? Or you'd like to try an event with a friend, or a teenage offspring? We will have rather a lot of cake... In this case you might like to look up our 100km or our 50km routes. There'll be more info nearer the time, but we're planning on a bit of a Cambridge sightseer, with the obligatory King's College selfie to show all your friends.

All rides will start at Haslingfield Methodist Church (except for the 300) and we'll have the hall open all day. Friends and family are very welcome to call in for a cuppa while they wait for you.
