Search10 Mar: Social ride to Newton

Seb writes: Seventeen riders joined the CTC Cambridge Social Ride today to Newton. Weather conditions were excellent for the time of year – around 10C with sunny spells. We split into two groups, led by John and Nigel respectively, riding about 100m apart to allow cars to overtake safely. The pace was a pleasant 17.1 kph 11 mph and we rode 40 km 25 miles Our route out went via Thriplow, resplendent with daffodils and, as well as chatting on the ride, we all had a good catch-up at Days Bakery.
