What is Audax?
An Audax is a long-distance cycle ride that has to be completed within a set time limit, including any rest stops. It is non-competitive; the goal is completion. Audax rides may be from 50 km (32 miles) upwards, but generally the focus is on rides of 200 km (125 miles). See
Audax UK for more information on what's involved.
Why join the CTC Cambridge Audax email discussion group?
The group is open to all CTC Cambridge members with an interest in Audax rides; you don't have to be an active Audaxer to join. Discussions focus on upcoming local events, sharing suggestions and lifts, and queries about the Audax UK website.
