Thursday 21 May: Off-road ride

9.15am from Brookside. Coffee is at Haddenham, Spar (takeaway shop). Lunch is at Ely, Market Place. Booking not required. There will be a lot of off-road riding. Tracks will be rough in places and may be muddy and there are steps at one point. Unsuitable for narrow racing tyres. Route may be varied on the day depending on weather and track conditions; we will regroup and make decisions as a group. May be cancelled at short notice if weather forecast is unsuitable - please join the mailing list for last-minute information. Option to return by train from Ely (off-road riding can be more tiring). Leader: Yasmin.

Grade: leisurelyThis ride is graded as "leisurely". These rides are suitable for anyone who can ride a bike and enjoys fairly gentle exercise. The pace usually averages about 16-18 kph.10-11 mph. More, 10-11 mph/16-18 kph. Distance: approx. 51 miles/82 km: mostly off-road.

The planned route (on RideWithGPS) is Offroad Thurs Aldreth Causeway
