A classic all-day summer ride into Suffolk to visit the picturesque village of Lavenham.

A direct route from Cambridge to Stradishall for coffee, then quiet lanes to Lavenham for lunch. Return via Long Melford and Ridgewell to Ashdon for tea. Then back to Cambridge via Bartlow and Balsham, with a long descent to Fulbourn.
