Southern busway cycle path closed.

This is a draft route issue and subject to confirmation

The first section of the southern busway cycle path - from the start of the path near the Hills Road underpass to Long Road - will be closed for six weeks from Mon 12 Feb to Fri 29 Mar and should re-open on Sat 30 Mar. A further section - from Long Road to the junction with the spur to Addenbrooke's - will also be closed for just one week from Mon 19 Feb to Mon 26 Feb inclusive. More details here.
This closure affects a lot of our routes, including Brookside rides that join the busway at Long Road. But there are good alternative routes. Use this route to get to the DNA path. Or use this route to reach Trumpington.
It also affects rides that head back into town along the busway - similar diversions apply.

This long section is closed to allow installation of a new fence between the path and the busway tracks. The temporary fence will be replaced with a permanent fence to allow the busses to restart using the nearside track.
