In addition to our normal guidance for riders here is some extra guidance that you are asked to observe:
Government guidelines have changed again and there is now a legal limit of 6 people on any group activity. This means we are back to a maximum group of 6 people (leader plus 5 riders).
This is a strict legal limit and therefore all rides will be booked rides and all riders must contact the leader and book a place in advance.
All riders must observe social distancing rules and keep a two-metre spacing at all times, both on and off the bike. Remember this rule still applies whenever the group stops, e.g. puncture repairs. Help each other and speak out if anyone seems to forget.
All riders must follow the instructions from the leader when visiting cafes to ensure that the cafe rules and restrictions - such as maximum group size - are respected. Please let the leader know in advance if you don't want to use the planned cafe stop so that they can adjust the cafe booking. Bring your own supplies of food and drink for any rest or picnic stops or if you are not using the cafe stop.
Please play fair with your bookings and only book yourself onto one ride at a time. You must not join more than one ride per week.
All riders must agree to their contact details being used to assist the NHS Test and Trace Team if required. You will need to provide full contact details to the leader so please arrive at the start at least 5 minutes early or send your details in advance.
There may be no proper toilet stops. We realise riders may need to stop along the way: tell the leader if you need a hedge stop and the leader will pause the ride so you can take the time you need.
