Peter R writes: We had an early start for what turned out to be a long day. I picked up George and Clive at George's at round 9.10am and headed out to Larling. We arrived at The Angel just before 10.00am, Adrian arrived soon after with Vic and John. After unloading, we set out for the A11 rest place for coffee.
Unloading at The Angel
Our route lay via the Illington road to Wretham and the Peddars Way. Turning South, we headed for the rest place.

Coffee at the Rest Place
After coffee we carried on to the Bridgham road where George (not wanting to do the rough stuff) went his own way, whilst the rest of us carried on on Peddars Way to the Brettenham road.
On arriving at the Brettenham road, the party decided that they wanted to do the remaining part of Peddars Way to the A1066 to Harling road.
An interesting part of this stretch was a plastic road over a marshy area beside the River Thet, it was made from re-cycled plastic.
The bridge over the River Thet was made for pedestrians with steps which were rather steep but we managed it.
From there we rode to Middle Harling and East Harling then back to lunch at The Angel
After lunch we rode back to East Harling, Eccles Road, Wilbey, Old Buckenham, Kenninghall, Garboldisham (pronounced Garbisham), East Harling and back to The Angel. We arrived back in Cambridge around 7.00pm, having cycled over 37 miles.
